Abu Sayyaf Camp Captured.

An Abu Sayyaf camp was captured by the PHP army on Friday. The camp was being defended by about 50 fighters, of the estimated 450 Abu Sayyaf terroritst, and the aid of terrorists Radulan Sahiron was confirmed killed. It was not confirmed if Sahiron was killed, he has a $1M reward for his capture issued by the US. Please pray for peace in Mindanao and a lasting solution to the questions of Muslim autonomy.  For complete details and to read the story click HERE.

189 Charged with Murder, It may be the Biggest Murder Trial in History

Last November 23, 57 people were murdered in a political massacre. Many were journalists and the family of a rival political clan. The government in Manila has charged 189 people for complicity in the murders. For a full story click HERE.

Abu Sayaff terrorist training and bomb making camp captured.

Huge news from the Philippines, the military found a camp used by the Abu Sayaff, a terrorist group, to and build bombs. The Abu Sayaff has about 400 members and have conducted terrroists activites throughout the Philippines including kidnapping for ransom.

March 11, 2010 Private Armies Could Make the May Election Violent

According to this article there are an estimted 117 private armies in the Philippines who are for hire.
